Who was the inventer of insulin?

The true inventor of insulin was the Romanian scientist Nicolae Paulescu (1869- 1931). He succeeded to develop an aqueous pancreatic extract which, when injected into a diabetic dog, proved to have a normalizing effect on blood sugar levels. He called his discovery „pancreatine”. Eight months after he published his works, the Canadian group of Banting,McLeod Best and Collip published their so called research results, greatly influenced by Paulescu’s work, which they had studied, but stated that „the translation from French played tricks on them”, therefore…they could not fully understand the Romanian’s work…

The latter were awarded in 1923 the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine, proving once again that theft works at all levels, including science…
